The aims of Around the World curriculum are:
- 1. To help students understand cultures and history around the world, as well as broaden their horizons;
2. To help students develop the ability to reflect on themselves through history, drawing lessons from the past to understand the present;
3. To develop students’ historical skills and generic skills for further studies and life situations;
4. To nurture students to become citizens who have global perspectives, knowledge and a sense of responsibility;
5. To enhance students' presentation skills and proficiency in English.
